Moji Taiwo is a Nigerian-Canadian with an educational background in Radio Arts and Sociology. Moji was a civil servant with the Government of Alberta, Justice and Solicitor General, Correctional Services, Young Offender Branch for 31 years before retiring in 2015. As a case manager and then a Deputy Director of Operations, with extensive experience in writing legal documents for the courts, staff training reviews, policy and procedure drafting and leadership. Moji is an avid community organizer and volunteer in causes related to women, family and youth. Moki has received many notable awards including the Nigerian Canadian Community Association Leadership Awards, the Governor General Correctional Services Exemplary Medal and Bar Awards, Alberta Solicitor General Leadership Award and was featured as one of Canada 150 stories by the Canadian Race Relations Foundation in 2017.
