Bill Lee is a committed activist who works with Aboriginal communities, anti-poverty groups, inner-city neighbourhoods and communities in various parts of the globe, including Africa and Eastern Europe. He is also a popular professor in the School of Social Work at McMaster University where he has taught for over 25 years. His book Pragmatics of Community Organzing is used extensively in university and college classrooms across the country. He continues to write with a Toronto-based research group that has produced a number of thoughtful articles furthering the Canadian canon on community-based change.
