The League for Human Rights is an agency of B’nai Brith Canada dedicated to combating antisemitism and racism at home and around the world, and advocates for human rights issues spanning the civil, political, religious and cultural sectors. The League is most well-known for its annual Audit of Antisemitic Incidents which is cited world-wide by government agencies, social policy planners and law enforcement bodies, and is considered the authoritative study on antisemitism in Canada. This documentation of antisemitic incidents by region, and analysis of patterns of antisemitic occurrence, is an important tool in examining the trends in incidences of hate crimes, providing a unique historical record of a particular form of hate activity in Canada.
