This report consists of an overview of the Justice/Immigration Seminar held by Metropolis, in 1997. The conference was subdivided into two main categories, Immigrants as Victims of Crime and Immigrants as Participants in Crime. In addition, the report presents the main challenges and research priorities identified by the conference participants: Hate Crimes, Law Enforcement, Role of Non-Governmental Agencies, and Systematic Racism. The remainder of the proceedings outlines practical means of achieving these main objectives.

Ce rapport consiste en un aperçu du séminaire Justice / Immigration organisé par Metropolis en 1997. La conférence a été subdivisée en deux catégories principales, Immigrants en tant que victimes d’un crime et Immigrants en tant que participants à un crime. En outre, le rapport présente les principaux défis et priorités de recherche identifiés par les participants à la conférence: crimes haineux, application de la loi, rôle des agences non gouvernementales et racisme systématique. Le reste de la procédure décrit les moyens pratiques d'atteindre ces objectifs principaux.
