The main focus of this report is to analyse the economic performance of immigrants to find out how well they have adjusted to the Canadian environment. The researcher looks at:

• Characteristics of the Immigrant Population;
• Integration of Immigrants into the Labour Force; and
• Immigrant Earnings and Discrimination.

Extensive charts, graphs and statistics are presented for each of these topic areas.

L'objectif principal de ce rapport est d'analyser les performances économiques des immigrants afin de déterminer dans quelle mesure ils se sont adaptés à l'environnement canadien. Le chercheur examine:

• Caractéristiques de la population immigrante;
• Intégration des immigrants dans la population active; et
• Gains d'immigrants et discrimination
