In this book, the authors aim to address the impact of racism on the health and well-being of African Canadians. Initiated by the Racism, Violence and Health Project of 2002, this book is based on studies conducted in three Canadian cities – Calgary, Toronto and Halifax. The premise of the studies was to explore the lived experiences of African Canadians in these communities, with a specific focus on Canadian Blacks, Caribbeans and African Canadians.

Dans ce livre, les auteurs ont pour objectif d’aborder l’impact du racisme sur la santé et le bien-être des Afro-Canadiens. Initié par le projet Racisme, violence et santé de 2002, ce livre est basé sur des études menées dans trois villes canadiennes - Calgary, Toronto et Halifax. Le but de ces études était d'explorer les expériences vécues par les Afro-Canadiens dans ces communautés, en mettant l'accent sur les Noirs, les Caraïbes et les Afro-Canadiens du Canada.
