The third roundtable in the CRRF’s six-city series was held as the culminating session of ONE: The Mayor's National Summit on Racial Inclusion
The City of Winnipeg and partners, including the Canadian Museum for Human Rights and the CRRF, convened ONE: The Mayor's National Summit on Racial Inclusion one year after the museum’s official opening and eight months following the Mayor’s press conference against racism.
The Summit brought together leaders, community organizations and citizens from across Winnipeg and Canada. Here, ideas were shared and initiatives born to promote racial inclusion in all our communities.
The session highlighted the City’s growing Indigenous population and diverse ethnic communities, while asking, "How do we move forward toward racial justice and reconciliation?"
