This report details the problem of sexual assault within Aboriginal communities in Canada. Prepared for the Aboriginal Healing Foundation, this report details the history of sexual abuse spanning from Residental Schools to present time. The report presents Aboriginal views on sexuality, the relationship between the criminal justice system and Aboriginals, and potential routes towards prevention and healing of sexual abuse and trauma.
