This photo album has been compiled by the Shingwauk Residential Schools Centre. The Centre was developed from the work undertaken by the Shingwauk Project. The Project began in 1979 as a cross-cultural research and educational development project of Algoma University (AU) and the Children of Shingwauk Alumni Association (CSAA).

This resource contains photos and information from Mount Elgin Indian Residential School in Muncey, Ontario. The album is comprised of photos from the Department of Indian Affairs (6 – 7); United Church of Canada (8 – 14); and the Vena Missauba collection (15 – 18).

Cet album photo a été compilé par le Shingwauk Residential Schools Centre. Le centre a été développé à partir des travaux entrepris par le projet Shingwauk. Le projet a débuté en 1979 en tant que projet de recherche et de développement pédagogique interculturel de l'Université d'Algoma (UA) et de l'Association des anciens élèves des enfants de Shingwauk (CSAA).
