Review

The 2013 Black History Month Poster commemorates the life and work of Lincoln Alexander a notable Canadian who achieved success becoming the first African Canadian Member of Parliament, the first Black Lieutenant Governor of Ontario and the founding Chairman of the Canadian Race Relations Foundation (CRRF).

Published by the Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario, this is a fitting tribute to a man of many talents who was a champion for anti-racism in Canada and was not afraid to confront issues of prejudice and discrimination wherever and whenever they occurred. This poster was sent to every school in Ontario.
