Cross Canada Conversation - A National Perspective

Date of program: Wednesday October 28, 2020

Time of program: 1pm – 3pm EST

This event seeked to facilitate consultation, and the exchange of information between the nationally organized representatives of racialized communities. The focus of the discussions were on challenges faced, best practices, and recommendations for new or improved policies at the national level. We were also interested in the way in which organizations engaged in research and advocacy on behalf of their communities.

Guiding Questions for the Conversation

  • How has Covid-19 changed the situation for your community?
  • Racism represents an ongoing threat to Canada’s goal of an inclusive society. What are 3 key advocacy initiatives that would make a meaningful difference your community?
  • What do you see as the role of CRRF in assisting your initiatives?
