Bill Carr is a multimedia artist, actor, writer, speaker, life coach and social activist. Bill co-created ARC- The Atlantic Restorative Company, a social entrepreneurship whose mission is to “create space for authentic human exchange” in our global community. Bill’s latest book is Acting Up: Lessons from the Theatre of Life.
For over thirty years, Bill has been making people laugh at what’s trivial while helping them think deeply about what counts. His unique blend of humour and insight inspires laughter and offers his audiences a fresh perspective on what they face every day. An award-winning journalist, actor, and humorist, Bill offers custom-tailored performances and keynote speeches to deliver exactly what organizers need, no matter what the event.
Bill's career has seen him perform on stages across Canada, including at Neptune Theatre, Mermaid Theatre, and with the Atlantic Theatre Festival. He has written and performed in numerous radio dramas for CBC, and has made appearances on countless television programs, several movies, and many advertisements.
Involved with a number of charitable events, Bill served on the boards of The Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia, The Community Justice Society of Nova Scotia, Actra, and The Atlantic Comedy Festival Society.
