Lorna Dueck is the Host and Executive Producer of Context with Lorna Dueck, a half-hour, weekly TV show exploring current affairs from a Christian perspective. She is also President of Media Voice Generation, the Canadian charitable organization that produces the program.
A popular television personality and public speaker, Ms. Dueck works extensively in Canada's non-profit and charitable sectors. She is a regular commentary writer on faith and public life in The Globe and Mail and is also pursuing a Master’s degree in evangelism and leadership from Wheaton College.
Ms. Dueck co-hosted the national daily Christian TV program 100 Huntley Street for eight years. She has also worked as a journalist for Golden West Broadcasting, CKX Television and Radio, the Winnipeg Free Press and CBC Radio.
In recognition of her work, she has been given the Leading Women Award; Canadian Church Press Award; Word Guild Award; Providence College and Seminary’s Distinguished Christian Leadership Award, and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal.
Context with Lorna Dueck which began as Listen Up TV in 2003 – currently airs on seven TV networks. It features on-location reports, documentary style features, and studio and double-ender interviews.
